We are congregational in government meaning that the final authority for church-related decisions lies within the members of our local church. The church calls its own pastors and elects its own leaders.

Pastor:
Our current pastor is Don Coole. He is a native of Massachusetts and was called to Candor in January of 2001. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida. He has served as a pastor in California and in Connecticut beginning in 1988.

He has been married to his wife Nancy for 25 years and has two children named Benjamin and Angela.

Youth Pastor:

Joe Pine is our youth pastor.  He has a degree from the Word of Life Bible Institute and also graduated from Davis College with his Bachelors of Religious Education. He is currently attending Baptist Bible Seminary where he is working on his Masters of Divinity. Joe is also in the Army Reserves.  He brings a great deal of energy and excitement to the ministry of teens and youth.  He is married  to his wife Becky and has four children.

Deacons:
Our deacons are Bill Lunn, Dave Nichols, Chad Showers and Larry Lattin. They oversee the spiritual life of the church as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1 -7and Titus 1:7-9.
